Langhe Castles Panorama, architecture and tradition

Book Now

The castles that rise in the Langhe and Roero area represent one of the characteristic and distinctive elements of the landscape. Situated on top of the hills that host the villages of lower Piedmont, castles have for centuries contributed to the image and identity of each municipality and the entire territory.

Some of them boast an architectural style of excellence and interiors with fine original furnishings, so much so that they are striking examples from a historical and artistic point of view. They are thus symbols of the history of local communities, witnesses to architecture and art from the Middle Ages onward.

The castles of the Langhe and Roero, visited each year by tens of thousands of Italian and foreign tourists, are an essential stop to discover and experience the area.

Thirty kilometers away, Racconigi Castle is the most shining example of the grandeur of the royal house of Savoy; its park was voted the most beautiful in Italy in 2010.
